It's tough to run a website devoted to the development of urban rail in Tampa, Florida, only to be somewhat waywardly informed of news as ground breaking as when the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners votes to begin developing ballot language for a 2010 transit vote that would give Hillsborough County residents a voice on transporation choice. I won't kid you, it hurts. I knew there would be sacrifices in my decision to make a break for New York City, but this is the one that continues to rankle me right to the core. Not just because it's kinda crucial that, you know, as the leading blog site advocating urban rail development in Tampa and Hillsborough County Florida for as long as it has; but because dammit, I look for any excuse to use the scream font. And there haven't been too many excuses lately that quite equate to a freakin' 7-0 unanimous BOCC vote in favor of this step. I mean. Wow.
