TampaBay.com is running "HART Prepares for Referendum on Light Rail". The marketing arm of this launch is being lined up.

Seattle's new light rail system is well represented on You Tube.
Meanwhile, Seattle opened up its own light rail line to the public over the weekend (today is the first real day of fare service). Here's You Tube footage 1, and, You Tube footage 2.
Update 7/20/09 Evening: If you want insight on par with Tampa Rail, nothing beats a fellow transit enthusiast's blog in a town where light rail is opening. Tragically, I don't come across enough of these. There are plenty of transit enthusiast blogs, and, there are cities and counties building rail. But it's a treat to find an intersect. Imagine this blog, Tampa Rail, on the day light rail opens in Hillsborough County, and you get an idea for the enthusiasm over at Seattle Transit Blog. A real play by play on the hours leading up to, and through, and even after, the grand opening.
